How we met! Interesting story.....

My Honey sells Honda ATV's and Motorcycles! I was gonna b in the market for a new 4-wheeler in the near future. I didnt get mine other one in the divorce earlier last year. My best friend called the local Honda dealership, and jus so happened that Jason aswered the phone (something salesmen dont do very often).... She was looking to order her husband (one of my best friends from high school) his dirt bike early and surprise him. For a month or so, she had dealt with "Jason" and getting this bike ordered, here, and home to surprise Terrance. The day she went and did the final paperwork, she called me on the phone. She said "when u buy ur 4 wheeler u are buying it from Jason! He is so funny AND gorgeous". She proceded to tell me that in all their conversation she had invited him to go ride dirt bikes AND horses with us sometime. AND, when she was going to Honda shop the next week she wanted me to go and meet him..... and talk about my 4 wheeler! hehe.... Well, being the girl I am............ I looked him up on the dealerships web page and got his full name. I had jus started a new myspace page, so I searched him. There he was in a cowboy hat! I was soo ready to meet my new salesman! lol. We talked on myspace for a few days. Jus vague stuff. 4 wheelers, ridin his motorcycle, etc...... I was (and still am) am big Harley Davidson fan (he hates that ~ he has a sport bike) and I had told him I would come in with Yvonne and order me a Honda tshirt to add to my Harley T collection - LOL. What a great EXCUSE! Needless to say, I met him that day. Was googly, I'll admit it! He came to Atlanta, we rode his bike about 3 days later..... the rest is HISTORY! For two people who were JUS lookin for FUN ~ we got married not quite 4 months later!

Wolf Pen Gap ~ Mena, Arkansas

Spring Break 2009!

Saturday March 14 ~ We left after Jason got off work and headed to Mena, Arkansas for some Mountain 4-wheelin' and good ole campin! We rented a primitive cabin this trip since we dont have a tent or a camper and it was great! Cutest little cabin... it had a full size matttress and a twin mattress downstairs and a twin in a loft (if u can call it that). We had to take our own bed linens and towels for the shower house there at the campground. We arrived at almost dark so we made the bed and hung out at the picnic table and observed the folks who had rode all day Sat and were "chillin" by the fire! The neighbors were hilarious entertainment! Drunken dancing is Funny Stuff when its not you! We hit the sack early so we could ride ALL day Sunday!

Sunday March 15 ~ We packed our cooler with a picnic lunch (no alcohol on the national forest trails) and headed out about 10 am. We purchased firewood before we left so we cud have ourselves a relaxing evening by the fire when we returned after a long day of riding! The scenery was beutiful. Although, it misted rain on us the first half of the day. We rode to the top of High Point and saw the old mine, etc. We ventured on the "for skilled riders only - steep incline" trails also. You know Jason wouldnt have it any other way!! We rode ALL day. Got back to camp about 6pm. Lit up the grill...... grilled burgers and Portobella mushrooms! mmm mmm good! Had us some toddy ~ but no dancing (we didnt want to entertain OUR neighbors! LOL).

Monday March 16 ~ We had planned to head on out this morning. But , it was a gorgeous sunny day and we didnt hit quite all the trails yesterday. We climbed Hawks Meadow Pass and saw the two foot oak! Today was great! Great weather and some really neat trails. We will be back. Maybe next time with a few friends. We stayed and Wolf Pen ATV Campground and they were great people! Loved it! Our first camping trip together was AWESOME!

U never know whats you'll get into on a "Road Trip"! LOL !! I never imagined loving and being loved on this level!! I can truly say it is a blessing. I cant wait to get some great Photographs of the mountain scenery as well. Well, I'll try to keep ya'll posted!

11/23/08 Sunday
We stayed in Amarillo last nite! Drove to Durango, Co tonight. Got here in time to go down to the Historic District and roam around. Most of the little shops were closed because it is Sunday. We ate at the best Mexican restaurant. Their Top Shelf Margarita was great - whew - I drank two - only needed one! Lookin forward to gettin up early and headin for Telluride! Cant wait for the Mountain Lodge and the fireplace in our room! (among other things!)
11/24/08 Today is my baby Konnors birthday, he's 10 yrs old today, Happy Birthday Konnor! We drove to Mountain Village and Telluride today. The most beautiful drive ever today. All the way up the mountain beside the river (Delores River). We took some pics along the way. I'll get em posted! We went into town today (Telluride) and rode the public transport system Gondola (only one in the USA). That was the MOST amazing ride ever! The scenery was awesome. I cannot explain how exhilerating that ride was! So much so, we rode it twice tonight after dark! WOW! Everyone needs to do that at least once in their lifetime! Riding the Gondola up to 10,500 feet in the dark! Yea, it WAS Cool! We went in an authentic Mexican Restaurant and had a Margarita! Very Good! oh, and went to Down to Earth! Really Cool store! Cant wait till tomorrow! The best is YET TO COME!!!

11/25/08
Well, today marks the beginning of a new life! My best friend became my partner for life! I never imagined a relationship like this! This has been THE most perfect vacation ever in my life! We rode backroads up into the mountains today and took some great pics! The scenery could only have been improved if we where on horseback! Maybe next trip! We have decided this will be a routine trip for us! This place is magical to me!

11/26/08
Since there is NOT ENUFF SNOW to learn to Snowboard, well..... we loaded up and hit the road today! We looked on Myspace for a talented tattoo artist in the area. We found Liberty 2 Tattoo in Montrose, Colorado. Really liked Phils work. They didn't open until 12pm, so we stopped in Ridgeway at a quaint little home cookin restaurant called "Galloping Goose" and had a huge breakfast of Homemade Omelets and Breakfast Burrito! We got to Montrose about 12:15pm. Walked in the Tattoo Parlor, and Phil was the one to greet us. Luckily he didn't have an appointment for this afternnoon! Haha ... No Excuses on backin out now JASON!! So....... my Honey got his 1st Tattoo today! Check out the pics! Tomorrows THANKSGIVING - Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone! I know I have plenty to be thankful for..... two healthy children and a wonderful new husband to begin a new life with!

11/27/08
Thanksgiving Day! Wishing everyone a Happy Holiday! I know I have sooo much to be Thankful for today! Toast to "New Beginnings"! We checked out of the lodge this mornin and hit the road! We Went to Baked in Telluride for a great fresh breakfast, then off the go thru some snowy mountain passes! We saw some of the most amazing scenery today, that pictures do not even do it justice! Had to take most of the pics thru the windshield due to narrow roads and heavy snow! Check them out! Everyone needs to experience it at least once in their lives! WE on the other hand have made a promise to come back! After all, we DID get married in this beautiful state! Drove all the way to Santa Fe for the night......... to be continued

11/28/08 Well, we hit the road early this mornin! We miss the Mountains already!!! We are headed to Oklahoma City to spend the evening and night with Jasons brother John Mark and his wife Tammy and their two children! Our first mishap!! Well, we turned around a Highway Patrol just outside of Amarillo! APPARENTLY the interstate speed limit in Texas is back down to 70! It was 75 a few minutes ago in New Mexico! Yea, had to come back to our Home State to get a visit from the Police!

11/29/08 Well, We made it to OKC yesterday! Met part of my new family! It was great to meet some of Jasons "people" finally! Cant wait to meet everyone else! Family AND Friends alike! It was nice to visit and see Jason with his brother! Thanks for making it easy John Mark and Tammy!
Well, our SECOND mishap! We left the house and headed out to come back to Texas for a day to rest up! What? We top a small hill in a 50 mile an hr zone on a two lane road and WHAM! A TEENAGER now knows WHY you dont stop on the other side of a hill to let DOGS pass by! You get a big ole ford emblem up the Ass of ur Car! Hit the dog or get hit urself! Pissed me off, cuz now my bumber is really screwed up! Oh well, otherwise! The trip was PERFECT. We stopped by to see Jasons mom and stepdad and still made it home by 6pm! Whew! I'm tired!
Best vacation of my life......................................................
